Often flooring options, like the carpet you pick, can have specific warranties or various upgrades with added warranties. Though specifics would need to be talked about at the design center, feel free to ask the design specialists what typical warranties are available.
Financing and Timeline:
See if the builder has a preferred lender, and ask about the benefits of financing your new home through them. In almost all cases, it makes for the smoothest and most seamless home buying process. Not only is the lender familiar with the home builder, but they also often specialize in financing new home builds. Not to mention you can know that the home builder trusts and already works closely with the lender. This can keep your build timeline on track by avoiding any delays in closing due to financing. Also, look at what a typical build timeline looks like for the builder, when making your selection.
Touring available models will give you a feel for what your new home or a spec home will look like
Are you wanting to move in more quickly? Spec homes are another thing to investigate if you are hoping for a quick move-in. Builders often have spec homes for sale at various building sites that have already been started. These homes are beautifully designed by the design specialists and still give the new homeowner some flexibility in making a few design choices.
